Art in the Park Dimond Public Art:  Art in the Park
When:  Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where:  Dimond Park, Oakland’s Dimond District, 3860 Hanly Road

Art in the Park, aka Art in the Street, is a new addition to the annual Dimond Picnic.  We enjoy celebrating our beautiful local arts scene!  Enjoy a curated mix of artist’s works as you browse and shop alongside other picnic activities – Circus Bella – Oakland Parks & Recreation kids activities, free swim at Lions pool and more!  Food trucks will be on-site for your picnic as you enjoy all of the festivities.
No admission – FREE ENTRY.



Dimond Public Art:  Art in the Street
When:  Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 12:00-6:00 PM
Where:  Champion Street between MacArthur Blvd and Lincoln Ave

Dimond Public Art is excited to host ART IN THE STREET, a new community event celebrating our beautiful local art scene!  Relax and enjoy a curated mix of outdoor market stalls alongside some of your favorite street food vendors.  Music and activities for the kids too!

Enjoy the start of the Holiday season at Dimond Lights, an event hosted by Embrace Dimond, Dimond Improvement Association and Dimond Mine Arts.  Decorate your Cars, Motorcycles, Bicycles and Tricycles for a chance to win cash prizes and Dimond merchant gift cards.  Come decorated with your best holiday attire!
4:00 PM – Kid’s Crafts table will make Christmas Tree Decoration – Local Artisan Crafts Bazaar begins5:00 PM – Grand Reveal of Deb Koppman’s new Mosaic Mural “Dimond River”5:30 PM – Christmas Tree decorating

12th Annual “Howl-o-ween” Pet Parade & Costume ContestWhen:  Saturday, October 24, 2015  |  2:00 PM
Where:  Paws & Claws, 3436 Dimond Ave., Oakland, CA 94602

Join Paws & Claws for their 12th Annual “Howl-o-ween” Pet Parade & Costume Contest on October 24th in the Dimond District.  Meet at Paws & Claws at 2:00 PM sharp to parade thru the business district collecting treats.  Pets, kids and adults are welcome to participate in the parade.  After parade, return to Paws & Claws, for a chance to win some fun prizes folks compete for the Best Human & Pet Costumes.  This annual celebration includes some of the best dressed costumes you’ll ever see.  Bring cash for your chance to win awesome raffle prizes!  All proceeds will benefit BAD RAP!  Please join their Facebook event page for updates.

This is a family affair for all, with something special for every age to enjoy. Dimond Night Out is the principle fundraising event for “Keep Dimond Clean”. DNO is a great time to enjoy a nice evening stroll through the Dimond District while listening to some great jazz music and tasting a variety of different cuisines. This is a great event for a great cause, so come out and help make this event successful while having some fun.
