Dimond Public Art: Art in the Park
When: Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: Dimond Park, Oakland’s Dimond District, 3860 Hanly Road
Art in the Park, aka Art in the Street, is a new addition to the annual Dimond Picnic. We enjoy celebrating our beautiful local arts scene! Enjoy a curated mix of artist’s works as you browse and shop alongside other picnic activities – Circus Bella – Oakland Parks & Recreation kids activities, free swim at Lions pool and more! Food trucks will be on-site for your picnic as you enjoy all of the festivities.
No admission – FREE ENTRY. |

Join Paws & Claws for their 12th Annual “Howl-o-ween” Pet Parade & Costume Contest on October 24th in the Dimond District. Meet at Paws & Claws at 2:00 PM sharp to parade thru the business district collecting treats. Pets, kids and adults are welcome to participate in the parade. After parade, return to Paws & Claws, for a chance to win some fun prizes folks compete for the Best Human & Pet Costumes. This annual celebration includes some of the best dressed costumes you’ll ever see. Bring cash for your chance to win awesome raffle prizes! All proceeds will benefit BAD RAP! This is a family affair for all, with something special for every age to enjoy. Dimond Night Out is the principle fundraising event for “Keep Dimond Clean”. DNO is a great time to enjoy a nice evening stroll through the Dimond District while listening to some great jazz music and tasting a variety of different cuisines. This is a great event for a great cause, so come out and help make this event successful while having some fun.
